What is Spectacled?
Spectacled is an AI-native applicant tracking system (ATS) for recruiting agencies and staff augmentation firms. It ranks every candidate against the role and the client on seven weighted dimensions, and turns the result into a submittal the client can review without logging in.
How does Spectacled score candidates?
Each candidate gets a score from 0 to 100 on seven dimensions, combined by weight: Technical fit 35%, Experience 20%, Skill depth 15%, Logistics 10%, Preferences 10%, Track record 5% and Communication 5%. 90 and above is grade A, 75 to 89 is B, 60 to 74 is C and below 60 is D. A dimension that can't be assessed is left out and its weight moves to the others.
Can Spectacled replace Bullhorn or Loxo?
For perm, contract and staff augmentation desks that work in Gmail, yes: sourcing, pipeline, client CRM, outreach, interviews, client portals and contracts are in one system. Candidates come over with a CSV import, and you can run both systems side by side while your desk switches. If you rely on timesheets, payroll, VMS integrations or Outlook, Bullhorn covers those and Spectacled doesn't yet.
Does Spectacled work with Claude?
Yes. Connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex or another MCP client from Settings, AI assistant. It sees only what your account can see, adds and updates records only if you allow changes, and never deletes records or emails anyone but you.
Is Spectacled secure?
Spectacled runs on Microsoft Azure in the United States, whose infrastructure is audited for SOC 2 Type II. Each agency's records are isolated, AI assessments and writing are logged with their prompts, and we sign a data processing agreement with every agency that asks. Spectacled doesn't have its own SOC 2 report yet.
How much does Spectacled cost?
Starter is free forever: 1 seat, 5 active jobs, 500 candidates and 100 AI actions a month. Professional is $99 per seat per month billed annually, or $119 month to month. Agency is $199 per seat per month billed annually, or $239 month to month. There are no per-candidate or placement fees.
