Where does a job go when you publish it?

You write the job once in Spectacled. It is checked, then shows up on your careers page, in Google's job search data and in your job board feeds.

What happens when someone applies?

The application lands on the job's pipeline with the résumé and the answers, already sorted by your rules.

Applications that sort themselves.

For every job you publish.

  • Screening questions from a library you build once
  • Knockout rules that flag an answer, mark it for review or decline it
  • A résumé upload that fills in the form for the applicant
  • A status page and job alerts, so candidates stop emailing to ask

Job boards in your clients' names.

For agencies that recruit under a client's brand.

  • A board for each client, with its logo and colour, powered by your agency
  • Confidential roles posted without the client's name, and never on its board
  • Your own domain: verify it in Settings and we connect it, usually within one business day
  • An embed that puts your open roles on your existing website

Which compliance checks are built in?

They run when you publish a job and when someone applies, so nobody has to remember them.

Compliance checks on the Spectacled careers site
CheckWhat Spectacled does
Pay transparencyWon't publish a job without a pay range where the law requires one, and tells you which law applies.
EEO self-identificationOptional questions on gender, race or ethnicity, veteran status and disability, each with "decline to answer". Answers are stored apart from the application, and reports hide counts under five.
Consent and retentionConsent text with your company's name, your privacy policy and a retention period you set, from 1 to 60 months. The exact wording is saved with each application.
Spam protectionA hidden honeypot field and rate limits on every application form.

Careers site questions

Is the careers site included in my plan?
Yes. Every plan includes every feature, including the free Starter plan.
Can the careers site use our own domain?
Yes. Add the DNS records in Settings to verify your domain, and our team connects it, usually within one business day.
Do our jobs show up on Indeed and LinkedIn?
Spectacled publishes free XML job feeds for Indeed and LinkedIn, which you switch on in Settings. Sponsored job ads are bought on those sites.
Which languages does the careers site support?
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German. Applicants pick their language on the page, and the confirmation email follows it.
Can each client have its own job board?
Yes. A client's board shows its logo and colour and lists only the jobs you publish under its name. Confidential roles never appear on it.
Do applications go straight into Spectacled?
Yes. Each application lands on the job's pipeline with the résumé and the screening answers, ready to score against the role.
