They live in Spectacled, not in a prompt, so no instruction to Claude can switch them off.
- Never deletes a recordThe connector has no delete action. Removing a record stays with a person, in Spectacled.
- Never emails anyone but youClaude can send you a note. It can't write to a candidate or a client.
- Never launches outreachIt sets up sequences. A recruiter presses Activate in Spectacled to send them.
- Only sees what you canEach connection carries your own permissions, checked on every request.
- Read only, unless you allow changesYou choose read, or read and write, when you approve the connection.
- Every change listedRecent actions by Claude shows each change it made. Revoke the connection from the same page.
What can Claude see and do in Spectacled?
The connection is scoped to your own account and permissions. Scores come from Spectacled, not from Claude, so the same candidate gets the same score either way.
Reads
Candidates, jobs, clients, deals, interviews and call recordings, the pipeline, tasks, talent pools, placements including fees, team members and dashboards.
Changes, if you allow them
Adds and updates candidates, clients, deals, tasks, talent pools, interviews and pipeline stages, and sets up sequences for you to launch.
Never
Deletes records, emails anyone except you, launches outreach, or sees more than your own account can. It never sees your sign-in codes or passkeys.
How do I connect Claude to Spectacled?
It takes about a minute. Every change Claude makes shows up under Settings, AI assistant, in Recent actions by Claude.
