Send candidates to clients and get a decision without a login.

Spectacled writes the submittal, sends it with a review link and records the client's answer on the candidate's record. Clients open the link from their inbox, read your assessment and advance or pass, with no account to set up.

Client portal and review link questions

Do clients need an account to review candidates?
No. A review link opens the candidate's page straight from the email, with no account or password. Clients who review with you every week can also use the client portal, where they sign in with an email code, a magic link, Google, a passkey or an authenticator app.
How long does a review link last?
48 hours, and only for the contact it was sent to. If it has expired, the client enters their email on the page and a fresh link is sent to that same address. You can also revoke a link before it expires.
What can a client do from a review link?
Read your assessment, the match and the résumé, rate the candidate from strong yes to strong no, then advance and propose interview times or pass with a reason. Their answer is recorded on the submission in your pipeline.
How do I keep a client updated on every open role?
Send an overview link from the client or the job. It shows each open role with how many candidates are submitted, interviewing, at offer and hired, needs no login, lasts a year, and can be revoked at any time.
Can the portal carry my agency's brand?
Yes. Portals and review pages show your logo and one of six accent colours. They run on the Spectacled app's address, and the client portal carries a small Powered by Spectacled line. Your careers site is the part that can run on your own domain.
Can I send a blind or anonymised profile?
Submittals from Spectacled name the candidate. For a blind profile, use our free submittal template. Talent pools you share in the client portal are anonymised, and the client asks you for an introduction.
Are client portal users charged as seats?
No. Clients and candidates who use the portals are never seats, on any plan, including the free Starter plan.
