Which one fits your agency?

Each is a good choice for a different kind of desk. Read the three lists and pick the one that sounds like yours.

Recruit CRM fits if

  • You want a published price on every plan and a 30-day trial.
  • You place contractors and want timesheets and contractor billing in the same system.
  • Your recruiters source from LinkedIn and Xing and work in Outlook or Gmail.
  • You want a mobile app for iOS and Android.

Bullhorn fits if

  • You run a larger staffing firm that wants front and back office from one vendor.
  • Your clients send requisitions through vendor management systems.
  • You rely on apps from a large marketplace: Bullhorn lists more than 300 partners.
  • You want implementation included, which Bullhorn lists free on Starter, Core and Pro.

Spectacled fits if

  • You want every candidate graded A to D with the reason, on every seat, never metered.
  • Your clients should review shortlists from a link, without logging in.
  • Your team works in Gmail and you'd like to start on a free plan.
  • You run staff augmentation and want your bench matched to every new req.

Spectacled doesn't do these yet: Outlook and Microsoft 365, timesheets and invoicing, single sign-on, a mobile app, and import beyond candidate CSVs of 500 rows a file. If you need one of them now, Recruit CRM or Bullhorn is the better fit.

Recruit CRM and Bullhorn questions

Is Recruit CRM cheaper than Bullhorn?
At the entry plans the listed prices are close: Recruit CRM Pro is $95 per user a month and Bullhorn Starter is $99. Recruit CRM Business is $135 and Bullhorn Core is $165. The bigger difference is what each includes: Recruit CRM lists AI matching, a deal pipeline and timesheets on every plan, paid for with credits, while Bullhorn puts AI search and match and its sales pipeline in Pro and Max, which are quoted.
Do Recruit CRM and Bullhorn have free trials?
Recruit CRM offers a 30-day free trial. Bullhorn's pricing page says it "does not currently offer a free trial" and offers a demo instead. Neither lists a free plan; Spectacled has one, free forever for one seat.
Which one includes AI candidate matching?
Recruit CRM includes AI sourcing and matching on every plan, using 3 credits per 100 profiles from a monthly allowance of 100 to 2,000 credits per user. Bullhorn includes AI search and match in Pro, and agentic AI matching in Max. Spectacled grades every candidate on every plan, including the free one, and grading is never metered.
Which one handles timesheets and invoicing?
Both, in different ways. Recruit CRM lists timesheets and contractor billing on every plan at 100 credits per contractor a month, plus invoicing. Bullhorn covers back office in Bullhorn One and its larger-agency editions, and lists middle office as optional and priced separately. Spectacled doesn't do timesheets or invoicing; it records bill and pay rates on each placement and exports them to CSV.
What does it cost to move my data?
Recruit CRM includes a CSV import tool on every plan and lists assisted migration as paid, with costs discussed before you commit. Bullhorn lists free implementation on Starter, Core and Pro, and its FAQ says Max doesn't include it. On Spectacled's Agency plan our team moves your data, with the scope agreed in writing first.
Do they work with Outlook?
Bullhorn's FAQ lists email and calendar sync for Outlook and Gmail from Starter. Recruit CRM lists two-way email and calendar sync on every plan, and its Chrome extension captures profiles from Outlook and Gmail. Spectacled works with Gmail and Google Calendar; Outlook isn't supported yet.
